METCO Services was responsible for providing an As-Built survey for the existing Michigan Central Railroad bridge over I-75 in southwest Detroit utilizing HDS methods. The accuracy and completeness of the final deliverable allowed for the design engineers to make critical engineering decisions with confidence.

points (through conventional survey
methods)
• Locate bridge support structures and
relate directly to the existing I-75
lanes.
• Provide elevation data on bridge seats.
• Provided detailed profiles of existing
bridge to aid in future design process.
