Lorraine Sanitary Relief Sewer – City of Warren
|
 |
The City of Warren had identified a problem with sewers backing up into residential area during peak conditions and a “Sanitary Relief Sewer” was the proposed solution.
METCO was retained to perform a topographic survey identifying the existing conditions over the proposed route for the relief sewer in the first phase. Additional services provided included engineering and construction services for the design of the sewer and the replacement of roads, sidewalks, utilities and all other improvements with the designated area.
Some of the major tasked performed under this project include:
• Topographic Survey for the entire 2.5 mile
corridor
• Identify Boundaries and Right of Ways along
the route
• Existing utility locations for possible
interference with the proposed sewer design
• All structures, fixtures, and any other
features within the right of ways
• Bypass sewer design
• Road grade and drainage design
• All necessary sidewalk restoration
• Stake proposed drainage structures and
bypass sewer structures and any other
utility relocations required for the project
• Proved and maintain stationing along the
proposed route at 50 feet intervals
• Stake newly designed road for construction
• Stake sidewalk restoration where needed
