• Provide 3 horizontal control points
• Provide 3 vertical control points
• Used City of Detroit Horizontal &
Vertical datum’s
• Locate all utilities, above and below
ground from field observations and utility
drawings
• Include all rim elevation and invert
elevations
• Provide elevations at a 50 feet grid
• Establish Right-of-ways of roads and alleys
• Locate all buildings
