City of Akron Kelly Green Project (CSO Rack 3)

The proposed green infrastructure (GI) design includes partial sewer separation/conveyance to route stormwater to the proposed GI locations. Proposed GI designs will also include recommendations for full depth roadway replacement where existing roads are deemed in poor or very poor condition. Additionally, neighboring symbiotic projects identified by the East Akron Neighborhood Development Corporation (EANDC) East Akron Revitalization Master Plan will be designed if authorized and directed by the City. These areas currently include a community garden within the McKinley Avenue PCA and vendor stall downspouts within South Arlington Street Central PCA METCO is responsible or the design and preparation of bid documents for approximately 4,000 linear feet (LF) of storm sewer. The Project shall include connections to existing catch basins and manholes, and new discharge points to BMPs developed by EDG.
